The SAND-FLEE® Portable Drum Sander is a
bench top power tool designed to save you hours of tedious
hand sanding while improving the finish of your woodworking
projects.

The SAND-FLEE® can be used for sanding wood, wood composite
materials and even metal. Its 18” wide, precision CNC machined
aluminum-steel drum with virtually no vibration is covered with Velcro® making it
a snap to change paper. In fact, many fret work users install
two or even three different grits across the drum at the
same time to achieve progressively smoother finishes without
changing setup.
Achieving a glass smooth finish is now as easy as pushing
your materials over the spinning drum. No more burning or sniping

The SAND-FLEE® is an easy and effective solution
for many projects such as raised panel doors, glue-ups,
stair threads, hobbies and crafts, fret work,
small pieces as well as large pieces where
18"-36” of sanding width and no limitations of height
would be useful.
The SAND-FLEE® features a new textured powder coated steel base,
and a new super-rigid 1/4" steel nickel-plated top allows for
heavier projects such as cabinetry work and accepts magnetic featherboards.
A heavy duty commercial Baldor motor generates a reliable 1/3 HP at 1725 RPM.
The SAND-FLEE® can be installed on any bench top at least 24” x 40”.
The now included 24” long, extruded aluminum fence is ideal for supporting
vertically oriented material during edge sanding
operations, such as raised panel doors. You can attach feather boards
and other hold downs to the front T-Slot.
The fence also allows your SAND-FLEE® to serve as an 18” jointer.
One of the most impressive features of the SAND-FLEE® is how effective
the cabinet is at trapping dust. The new SF-1800 includes an improved downdraft system,
which makes dust collection even better than before. Even without a hose connected to the
2-1/2” dust port, most of the sanding dust stays inside the cabinet.
This is a great advantage when doing glue ups, since the sanding dust
is easily available inside the cabinet, not to mention it helps keep
your shop clean and your lungs safer.
New micro-adjustment knob helps to adjust height of table-top.
The cost of loading 18" of sanding surface is roughly 1
dollar and can be accomplished in less than 1 minute.
The paper can be taken off and reused, providing you
greater flexibility and enormous savings.
Sandpaper is sold separately. The SAND-FLEE Hobby-Pack
contains six 3"x10 yard rolls, one each of the following
grits; 100, 120, 150, 180, 220 and 320. Each roll is good
for approximately eight wraps.
But, the favorite of serious woodworkers is the 3" X 25 Meter rolls,
available in the following grits:
60, 80, 100, 120, 150, 180, 220, & 320.
